However this new installment is hoping to change that.
This is the latest entry in a long-standing military shooter line frequently positioned as a grittier alternative to Call of Duty.
The franchise has never quite succeeded to rival its top competitor in regards of sales or gamers, but indicators suggest the new installment could reduce the distance.

The UK studio design director Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the individual tasked with "making sure those missions are as entertaining and compelling as feasible for the players."
Regardless of claims that the scope of the project had challenged the various teams collaborating across continents to develop the title, the director is positive about the work.
"Collaborating with varied backgrounds, distinct heritages, it's a truly engaging environment to be part of daily," he explains.
"This entire method has been an innovation but something truly exciting because we are working with team members from around the globe."
Regarding the expectation on the developers, he says: "We feel demand but at the same time it's thrilling.
"We're dealing with a big undertaking. It's likely the largest that most of us have previously worked on."

To be on it now, as his first career position, "doesn't feel real."
"It's truly amazing seeing the promotion everywhere," he shares.
"Understanding that I have added my own thing into the title is truly unbelievable."
