Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in an LA Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in California at the age of 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The renowned video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
